Slip sliding away Nov 18th 2007 Watch the trees and mud move off the slide plane and into the creek. Look out for the sudden change in level and at the end how it looked the next day (flash)

My name is Kevin HallKevin Hall and I, and my family live next to a landslide, in Stevenson Washington, USA. Which is situated in the middle of the Cascade Mountains directly between Mt Hood And Mt St Helens. The landslide has displaced my neighbors Bill & Annette Lacombe (twice), and menaces their now vacant home daily, attempting to drag in down into the abyss. The landslide now threatens other homes in the area with slow ponderous malevolence as it eats its into the hillside. This is landscaping on a grand scale and fascinating to watch as new vistas are revealed, but one is always left with a sick feeing in the stomach as you wonder who is going to be next, the Fosters to the East or our humble abode to the North? So to ease my troubled mind, I installed a camera to check on the approaching edge and then, needing a place to view it set up this website that I now share with you. In the process, I have learnt a great deal about cameras, Servers, Static IPs and how expensive it can be both in time and money, but the most important thing, is the kindness of the many people who have visited in their comments and good wishes.

July 17 - So now the Foster's home has been moved out of harms way, who will the slides next victim(s) be?
